Family

Mike's parents and little brother came in town this month… It has been so fun to have them here! His dad and little brother, John, were finally able to meet baby Evelynn! 

The timing was just perfect because John got his mission call while he was in town. He was able to open it up here in Utah with all of his family! He is going to Wichita Kansas! He leaves on August 7! I think everyone was more surprised about when he is leaving, than where he is going! Ever since the Church changed the age for missionaries to go out, many people open their calls and still have several months before the leave to the MTC… I've had many friends who have had to wait 3 & 4 months before their report date! 6 weeks for John! We are so excited for him to go out and serve the Lord! And so grateful that he gets to begin this experience so soon!

Also, While his family is in town, we were able to do a session in the Salt Lake temple. It's been a while since Mike and I have gone together, so it was wonderful to finally get to go back!

We are getting ready to go to Mike's grandpa's cabin this week! It's for a family reunion! We'll be gone Wednesday to Sunday! Can't wait to take Evelynn on her first vacation!
